Cancellation Policy

Booking, fees & Cancellation Policy 1. Booking Fee & Commitment To secure your preferred date and time, a £25 non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of online scheduling. This fee covers the administrative costs of preparing your compliance documentation and reserves a dedicated time slot in our national schedule. 2. Access to Premises For Caledonian Compliance Ltd to perform the required safety inspections, the client must ensure that: • Reasonable access is provided to all electrical appliances/areas at the scheduled time. • A representative is present to grant entry, or clear arrangements (such as a key safe) have been made in advance. 3. No-Access & "No-Show" Policy If our technician arrives and is unable to gain access to the property within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time: • The appointment will be marked as a "No-Show." • The £25 booking fee will be forfeited to cover the technician’s travel time and the loss of the reserved slot. • A new booking fee will be required to reschedule. 4. Rescheduling & Cancellations Cancellations: • All booking fees are strictly non-refundable. If you choose to cancel your appointment for any reason, the £25 booking fee will be forfeited in full to cover the administrative costs and the reservation of the time slot. Rescheduling: • Notice Required: We allow a one-time rescheduling of your appointment provided that at least 48 hours' notice is given before the scheduled start time. • Fee Credit: If more than 48 hours' notice is provided, your £25 booking fee will be held 5. Payment Terms Initial Payment & Balance • Booking Fee: A payment of £25 is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. • Balance Due: The remaining balance of the base service fee is due in person upon completion of the inspection. We accept [Cash / Card via Mobile Terminal / Bank Transfer]. Appliance Volume & Additional Charges Our base service rates include an "Initial Allowance" of appliances (as specified in your chosen package). • Extra Appliances: Any electrical appliances identified and tested beyond the initial agreed amount will be charged at a flat rate of £3.00 per item. • On-Site Assessment: Our technician will confirm the total count of appliances with you before commencing the full inspection to ensure total price transparency. • Final Invoice: All additional item charges will be added to your final balance and must be settled before the digital Compliance Certificate/PAT Report is released.
